How it works

The odd paise is the order's fingerprint

A bank alert only tells you an amount and a reference. So Milan makes the amount itself unique to the order.

  1. Create an order

From the dashboard, a payment page, an invoice or the API. Milan adds 1 to 99 paise to your price, so ₹349.50 becomes ₹349.53 for this order only.

  2. Customer pays your UPI ID

They scan the QR or tap the UPI link and pay that exact amount. The money goes from their bank straight into your account.

  3. Your bank sends its alert

The credit alert lands in your mailbox as usual. Milan reads only the label you set aside for bank alerts.

  4. Milan confirms it

The amount is matched to the live order, the UPI reference is saved, and you get a signed webhook plus a paid order in the dashboard.

Who it's for

Built for people who already get paid on UPI

If you share your UPI ID today and then scroll through bank messages to see who paid, Milan is for you.

Instagram & WhatsApp sellers

Send a payment page link in the DM. The order flips to paid by itself, so you pack the right parcel without asking for a screenshot.

Courses, coaches, tuition & events

One payment page per batch or event. Every payer's name and email is on the order, and your webhook can send the joining link automatically.

Indie devs & SaaS

Two endpoints and one webhook. Create an order, show the UPI intent, unlock the plan when order.paid arrives.

Small WooCommerce stores

Take UPI at checkout without a gateway account. A WooCommerce plugin marks the order paid when Milan confirms it.

Why not a payment gateway?

Keep UPI simple. Add only the confirmation.

Gateways move your money through their accounts. For a lot of small businesses that is more machinery than the sale needs.

Money lands in your account instantly

Payers pay your own UPI ID. There is no settlement cycle, no rolling reserve and nothing waiting in someone else's account.

No onboarding rejections

There is no gateway KYC queue to get stuck in, because Milan never holds funds. If you can receive UPI today, you can use Milan today.

Reconciliation that does itself

Stop matching screenshots against bank messages. Every order is confirmed from the bank's own alert, with the UPI reference stored.

A flat price, not a percentage

₹499 a month whether you take ten payments or ten thousand. Milan never takes a share of what you sell.

Honest trade-off: Milan is UPI-only and confirms payments from your bank's alerts. If you need cards, EMI or international payments, a gateway is the right tool.

FAQ

Questions merchants ask

Does Milan hold or touch my money?

No. Your customer pays your UPI ID and the money goes from their bank to yours. Milan is software that reads the bank's credit alert and tells you which order it belongs to. It is not a payment aggregator.

Which banks are supported?

Today Milan parses credit alert emails from HDFC Bank, ICICI Bank and SBI. If your bank's wording isn't recognised, the payment goes to your review queue instead of being guessed at — nothing is marked paid by mistake.

Why does my customer pay ₹349.53 instead of ₹349.50?

The extra paise make each open order's amount unique, so the bank alert can be matched to exactly one order. It adds at most 99 paise. The customer must pay the exact amount shown; if they round it, the payment lands in your review queue for you to match by hand.

What access do you need to my email?

You create a Gmail filter that puts your bank's alerts under one label, and give Milan an app password. Milan opens only that label. The app password is encrypted before it is stored, and you can revoke it from your Google account at any time.

Do I need a developer?

No. Payment pages and invoices work from the dashboard with no code. The API and webhooks are there if you want to connect your own app or store.

How fast is confirmation?

As fast as your bank sends the alert and Milan reads it — usually within a minute or two of payment. The money itself is in your account the moment UPI completes.

Is there a limit?

For any one price, up to 99 orders can be open (unpaid) at the same time within the order window, because there are 99 paise values to give out. Paid and expired orders free their slot. Different prices have separate slots.
